Norris Ford is the #1 leading men’s DIY designer, content creator, and entrepreneur. Norris successfully launched his pattern line with both Simplicity and Know Me patterns. He has taught thousands to sew via his social media pages, YouTube, and as the lead menswear instructor of Sew It Academy. 

His love of fashion began at the early age of five when he and his younger sister were living in foster care. He observed different couples visiting in search of adopting kids and got the creative idea to dress up in multiple outfits throughout each new visit. From his perspective, if they looked presentable and well-dressed with a unique style, they could attract the attention of future parents. They were adopted shortly after into an amazing home. 

Norris spent 10 years in Los Angeles, where he was a wardrobe stylist working with celebrities such as Prince, Matthew McConaughey, and Will Ferrell, just to name a few. Back in 2015, he met the queen of the DIY Fashion space and now wife, Mimi G., and she introduced him to the world of sewing and design. Being a student of Mimi G. propelled him into the highly impressive menswear designer he has become today.
